Product Manager

The Product Manager will be responsible for the following;

  • Working with the Sales & Marketing team to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
  • Manage and specify the Commercials, Features or Functions, Positioning, Pricing for New Product Introduction ensuring suitability for core markets and categories
  • Generate product requirements, determining specifications, production timetables, pricing, and time-integrated plans for product introduction, whilst simultaneously developing marketing plans and strategies
  • Gap Analysis to determine opportunities for NPD / NPI ensuring alignment with strategic and commercial objectives
  • Define the product strategy and project roadmap and lead the agile development team to deliver best-in-class customer products and experience, that engages customers and encourages sales
  • Determine Product Pricing & Market Positioning
  • Create Base Copy & Image Origination for use by Marketing Communications
  • Produce Product & Category Sales Analysis & Reporting

Essential Criteria:

The Product Manager must be able to demonstrate to following;

  • You will be motivated and passionate about CTS markets and thrive in a fast-paced, agile, collaborative environment
  • Proven experience in either a Product Management, Product Marketing or Technical Marketing role along with a Technical understanding, with hands-on experience in polymers, polymer processing, communications and connectivity industries
  • Experience of leading and developing teams within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience of managing product portfolio through product life cycle to optimise performance and maintain balanced pipeline
  • Developing a deep understanding of our customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that improve customer experience and drive growth
  • Excellent Project Management skills with complex, cross-functional projects
  • Good organisation & time management skills with a focus on attention to detail
  • Excellent IT skills experience including Excel
  • Strong Communication skills across a variety of media
  • Flexibility to travel throughout the UK & ROI and internationally.
  • Able to perform to tight deadlines
  • Understanding of SAGE ERP desirable
