Vickerstock are working alongside one of our leading clients based in Dunmurry to recruit an experienced HR Advisor. The successful candidate will work closely with the HR Business Partner and have responsibility for the Recruitment and Selection process.

Travelling to different sites is an integral part of this role, therefore, a driving licence and access to a car is essential.

The HR Advisor will be responsible for the following

  • Work collaboratively with managers/supervisors to provide professional HR advice and support to all departments;
  • Oversee the whole recruitment process i.e. recruitment referral scheme, advertising, preparing shortlists, scheduling interviews, prepare and send appropriate correspondence to applicants and managers both, organise pre-employment medicals, health surveillance and reference requests
  • Manage and proactively organise the return of all recruitment related paperwork, ensuring it is signed and filed
  • Work closely with line managers to ensure their recruitment needs are met in an appropriate and timely manner. Ensure regular communications takes place to update line managers on recruitment progress
  • Work with management to keep job descriptions and interview questions up to date and relevant
  • Co-ordinate the probationary review process in conjunction with management
  • Be a key stakeholder in the Company's HR System, ensuring the data on the system is up to date and accurate
  • Produce monthly recruitment reports, including statistical information
  • Manage on-boarding and off-boarding process. Including Exit Interviews and induction
  • Scope to undertake additional HR Duties as directed by the HR Business Partner to include: Employee Relations, Policy Development, performance improvement etc

The HR Advisor should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Degree in Human Resource Management or other business-related discipline with related professional qualifications
  • Preferably 2-3 years' experience in a Recruitment or HR environment
  • Reliable and dependable with a flexible approach to working hours
  • Strong understanding and commitment to confidentiality and integrity
  • Interested in improving and developing their skillsets
  • CIPD membership is preferable
