We catch up with Engineering Masters student George Morrison from Queen's Formula Racing and team mate, Jack Easson.
Firstly, a big congratulations to QFR driver and engineer Jack Easson on beating significant competition to gain a placement at Williams Formula 1, where he is currently learning the tricks of the trade! Hopefully he can send some hi-tech secrets back to his teammates at Queen's Formula Racing (QFR) for the new 2019 car!!
You can see some GoPro footage of Jack driving around part of the Silverstone endurance course at the end of the video.
Thanks to George and Jack for the great overview to last sason and some insight into what might be happening going into 2019 - there is certainly a lot to think about for the coming year.
Staff from Vickerstock were lucky enough to make their way to Silverstone in July to support the team at Formula Student and it was a fantastic experience. To see so many young, dedicated and skilled engineers creating some really cool and fast designs was a real treat - not to mention the great atmosphere and perfect weather - and poke vans that accepted credit cards!
As a company we are extremely proud to be partnered with the students at QFR, and we are looking forward to see what car the new team come up with over the next year.
We will be pushing out QFR project updates throughout the year on our website and across our social media channels.
